Community Building Project

OPENING OUR DOORS WIDELY

We’re getting ready to ‘Open Our Doors Widely” and expand our church, our community, and our facilities. With a focus on accessibility and a greater capacity for resources, including multiple and varied rooms dedicated for hire and different functions, our Community Building Project is receiving funding to grow bigger and better than ever. Working with the local architect, Ainsley Gommon, we’re excited for this huge project to finally get underway.

We’re almost there, and are hoping to start building in April 2026. We’d love to share what we’re planning with you and hear what you think of the project. Community is at the heart of what we do at Rivertown and at the heart of the Hope on the High Street project.

PROJECT FUNDERS

None of this would be possible without the backing and funding of some very special people and organisations. They have helped realise the vision of URC Rivertown’s future and how we can serve the community better than ever before. We can’t thank you all enough for making this wonderful dream a reality!

We’re almost over the line, but need all the help we can find to make sure the Hope on the High Street project is a success. If you are able to give, your donation will be gratefully received.

All donations will go toward the project and be used for our community work in Shotton and Deeside.
